Choosing the right vendors is essential to bringing your wedding vision to life. Avoid stress, spending extra money and that icky feeling of dissatisfaction by asking yourself these questions before booking your vendor team.

  1. Do they align with my values?

This is arguably, the most important question to ask yourself. Because where you spend your money really does matter. Do they talk about things that you care about? Do their actions match their words? Are their values visable and apparent on their website and social media? Are they involved in the community? If the answer is no, then they probably aren’t the right fit. The reality is… if they do not align with your values, they are not going to be able to offer the experience that you are hoping for.

2. Are they in my budget?

This one is kinda obvious, but it is really important to think about! Do your research and make sure that there are options in your price range before booking venue tours, appointments, etc. For example, maybe you are set on a specific caterer and always envisioned a plated dinner, but with your guest count… it’s out of budget. Look into what their buffet or family style options look like instead! Did you hear that a local bridal boutique gives a great experience but you prefer to spend under $1000 on your dress? Call and see if they have “off the rack” options at a discount or an upcoming sample sale! At the end of the day, spend more on the things that are most important to you and less on the things that aren’t.

3. Do they have Raving reviews?

Reviews and REAL experiences are so important to consider when choosing which vendors are a good fit for you! Take it from real brides, grooms, and marriers mouths. Don’t just look at the few sentences someone wrote, browse around for a couple really detailed reviews and read why this vendor made such an impact on this client!
